Pro-Ject’s latest record player, the new X8 Turntable ($2,480), is the company’s most affordable mass-loaded turntable. You’ll find a TPE damped mass-loaded platter along with a precision ceramic-tipped inverted bearing for smooth and consistent playback. Out of the box, this turntable comes equipped with an Ortofon Quintet Blue cartridge and carbon tonearm. The result of all of these additions is a truly balanced hi-fi experience.
