THE EASTENER HOSTEL IS A SMALL PLACE FOR THE INDEPENDENT TRAVELER. THIS HOSTEL IS NOT A PARTY HOSTEL. IF YOU LIKE TO PARTY PLEASE BOOK ANOTHER PLACE. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES.
We do not have an 24 hour reception. You can checkin at anytime starting from 10 am. You only need to inform us about your arrivaltime in advance. Late arrival is fine and not a problem. Once you checked in you will have an 24 hour access. There is no curfew and no lockout time.
The Eastener Hostel lies in the Mitte-District, right in the Old Town of Berlin. There is lots of sightseeing to be done in the area, all within walking distance: Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Museums Island with Pergamon and National Galerie, Hackesche Hoefe, the food streets Oranienburger Strasse and Torstrasse, Berlin Wall Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie and so on.
Every guest have his own locker and his own safe. There is also a full-equipped kitchen with free coffee, tea and sugar. On the spot are many excellent breakfast and lunch offers, as well as restaurants, bars, galleries, supermarkets...
People who have stayed here in the past loved it mainly because of the quietness and the warm atmosphere (this is what they told to us and wrote in the guest book at the reception!).
Please note there will be an extra charge of 2 Euro per person the entire stay for bedding and bedsheets.

Perfect for short stays alone or with a friend. The beds are adequate, the rooms are fine, the facilities are good, there even is a kitchen for everyone. But beware: Don't go if you want luxury or if you're overly comfortable. It's a hostel that fulfils your most basic needs.
Towels and sheets are included and clean, rooms are clean and the staff is just so nice.
This hostel is perfect for backpackers and people who want to save money on their Berlin trip.
