Hostelle is the first and only women hostel in Amsterdam. Hostelle was started with the idea to provide a safe and fun place for women who are travelling to Amsterdam to stay, so that you only need to focus on sightseeing and enjoying yourself while you are here. For travellers with a small budget Hostelle is ideal, we are very well communicated with the airport and the city centre (only a 15 minute metro ride away from Central Station). Hostelle will offer you a homelike atmosphere and make you feel like you are staying among friends!
Hostelle offers shared dormitories with 4-, 8-, 10 and 12 beds. The dorms all have bunkbeds. Every bed has its own shelf and locker to keep your valuables and a table with chairs (padlocks are for sale at the reception). You will find comfy beds and soft, fluffy pillows. Linen is included and a reading light. Every dorm has its own theme. Some rooms have been decorated by local artists from Amsterdam. You might even find some surprises!

Absolutely fabulous hostel! The atmosphere was so lovely, I was there alone but quickly met two girls also staying in my room who I spent the next couple days sightseeing with. I felt super safe and secure. The facilities were great too, with big shower rooms, nice bathrooms, and even a little ‘getting ready’ area with vanity mirrors and hair straighteners. I also arrived on the day of their yearly barbecue, so got an absolute feast for dinner completely free.

Location-
- it is located around lots of food places and shops.
- ten minute walk to the station
- fifteen minute metro ride to the centre
- However the location itself was not the cleanest or safest area, it was still lovely - coming from a solo traveller.

Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Beds were comfy! Each bed comes with a curtain, two sockets, lamp and a mini shelf. The shared facilities were clean and neat.
