A hostel newly relocated and renovated in 2010, located a five-minute walk from Termini station and Piazza della Repubblica in central Rome, Hostel Mosaic is of the highest standard for budget accommodation in Italy.
The hostel spans five floors and provides the latest amenities, security and comfort for the independent traveller or anyone wishing to stay in peaceful, calm surroundings after an exhausting day sightseeing in the most exciting and beautiful city in the world.
We offer a wide range of dorms and private rooms varying from two beds to four beds. Our two-bed private rooms and dorms have their own air conditioning. Choose between ensuite facilities or standard, where the bathroom is situated on the corridors. All rooms have linen included and high-quality beds. Towels are available for hire or sale.
Lockers are available in all dorms and safe deposit in all rooms. The whole hostel is covered by video surveillance making it comfortable and secure.
Reception is open 24 hours and there is no curfew. We have international, friendly and multi-lingual speaking staff.
Free luggage storage is available at reception if your room is not ready yet, you can safely leave them here and come back later for check-in, even after the check-out until late in the evening and not after 9 pm
We offer outstanding good value and superb cleanliness in an excellent location.
Our hostel is situated in a great central location just minutes walking distance to Piazza della Repubblica or a 20-30 minute walk to the city centre where you will find the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and much more. Close by the hostel you will find all of the amenities such as supermarkets, Laundromat and restaurants. Right next door you will find one of the oldest and most famous wine bars of Rome - Trimani.

2 bed advertised with 2 seperate beds but was a bunk and the bed didn’t stop squeaking.
Not much going on in the hostel was pretty dead, common area wasn’t really used
One member of staff was very rude and wouldn’t let a fiend leave his back in my locker/room (which I’d paid for) appreciate he wasn’t staying at the hostel but it’s the first time I’ve ever experienced that after staying at 30+ hostels
Only thing it had going for it was a decent location

This isn’t a bad place to stay by any means. The staff is very friendly and if you just want a place to hang your hat for a few days then it’s a pretty good place in a good location. But there’s essentially no social vibe here at all. The common area is like a little hotel breakfast bar, not really designed for meeting people. The air conditioning in the room was a little floor unit that really struggled to keep the room cool with 4 people sleeping there. The shower had absolutely nowhere to put anything, w

This Hostel is very well located and close to the Termini Station. I stayed in a private room and it got cleaned daily. The staff was nice and welcoming.
