As we are located in the heart of Queenstown one side of our property backs onto a popular social street (Searle Lane). Due to this we do experience noise from local bars especially over the weekend so please contact us directly via email if you are a lighter sleeper and we will do our best to allocate you to a room on the Church Street side of our property.
We also have free ear plugs available at our 24 hour reception if required so please don't hesitate to ask our friendly reception team for these.

We stayed in 5 different hostels across our stay in Queenstown. This was by far the least favourite in our opinion. There was absolutely no atmosphere despite the speaker playing at the reception. The rooms have no ventilation, often smelt of gas were very very small. There was no safe place to store any valuables and the 1 small cabinet (big enough to fit a laptop) you do have was broken. Do yourself a favour a stay somewhere else…

The location was good if your intention is to party in town, if you are looking to get any sort of sleep this is not the place to stay. You can hear all of the bar noises super late into the evening and there is a ton of people moving about the hostel really late at night. There was no atmosphere whatsoever since the place was so big. It really felt like a hotel instead of a hostel except much less clean. Very overpriced compared to the other hostels in town.

Worst mattress ever! Was like an instrument of torture sticking bits of metal in my back. It’s a really noisy building. Not from the guests, but the heating, fridge and bathroom extractor are all noisy all night long. The bathroom extractor is really loud and is on 24/7. The heat pump seems to switch on really loudly and make you jump, for a second or two every hour but not do any heating and just switch off again. Great location though and a bit of a hotel feel to reception area
